Gold Paintings

I find images of gold, silver or bronze fascinating; finding the right combination of colours to create gold is intriguing, needing browns, yellows, greens and a host of different hues depending on light and reflections. I became fascinated with taking small torn scraps of gold wrapping paper and placing them in such a way to turn them into a significant object of beauty in a painting.
