Abstracted Forms

After the strictures of the grid paintings, and thoughts turning to more ecological matters, came a period of painting more organic forms but keeping to a certain amount of abstraction. I was looking at plants, trees, and microscopic organisms and thinking of their importance in the functioning of biodiversity.
